Parking Tips
There is a parking lot on each side of Chapman Cultural Center. This is free parking for guests here to see shows, attend classes, visit exhibits, or conduct other business.
Parking also is available free of charge in the St. John Street Garage, which is just to the west of our facility off of Liberty Street, directly behind The George, the George Dean Johnson, Jr., USC Upstate College of Business and Economics.
Parking on Liberty or Converse streets is prohibited because it blocks access for emergency vehicles. Please keep reserved handicap spaces for those who have proper authorization and need.
Accessibility Information
Chapman Cultural Center is fully ADA compliant. All areas of the campus are handicapped accessible. The Chapman Cultural Center theater has state-of-the-art hearing assistance technology. In addition to traditional amplification devices, such as headphones, the theater is equipped with “The Loop” technology. Most hearing aids have T-coil or telecoil technology that is compatible with the hearing assistance system in the theatre. In most cases, patrons are able to flip a switch on their hearing aids to receive high quality sound especially suited to their specific needs. If you need a listening device or instructions on how to use our systems, please ask any usher in the theatre for assistance.
