Laura Zeisler, a photographer, art therapist, and Assistant Professor at Converse University, created an intergenerational photography project to reduce social isolation during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Laura taught documentary and other photography skills throughout Spartanburg. Fifty-one photographers between the ages of 5-86 came together at their respective agencies and shot a total of 4,103 images. The participating agencies included Spartanburg Housing Authority, Archibald Rutledge and Prince Hall Apartments, Eden Terrace Senior Living Center, and Converse University.
