Jan. 14-23, 2022 (Fri, Sat, Sun only) / 8pm - 10:30 pm

Calendar: Event/Performance
Categories: Theatre , Music
Age Groups: Students , Senior Citizens , Adults

Last night’s performance of The Color Purple was legendary. We couldn’t be more proud of our cast, crew, and production team for their incredible storytelling of Alice Walker’s beloved tale of perseverance and love.

Today we were made aware of a breakthrough COVID case within our cast, and in the interest of safety for our actors, musicians, volunteers, and audience members, have made the difficult decision to postpone all performances of The Color Purple to a later date. Due to scheduling, we are unable to confirm future dates at this time, and refunds will be given to all ticket holders. While our hearts break with this most recent development, the health and safety of our participants and patrons remains our number one priority.

Refunds for tickets purchased via the Chapman Cultural Center box office and website will be automatically processed via the original payment method in the next 14 business days. Season ticket holders will be contacted the week of January 17 regarding their ticket options.

Thank you for your compassion and patience as we navigate this latest obstacle. Your loyalty means the world to us, and we look forward to having you back in our audience when the current surge of COVID19 cases is a thing of the past. We know your tickets matter to you, and answering all of your questions in a timely manner will be our chief concern in the coming days.

We look forward to raising the curtain on this beautiful show again. Until then, stay safe, and we’ll see you soon. 💜
