Several of Spartanburg’s most popular bands and musicians will come together Saturday, April 2, on Chapman Cultural Center’s stage to pay tribute to the Marshall Tucker Band, one of the bands that established Southern Rock as bonafide rock ‘n’ roll and put Spartanburg on nation’s music map. The concert has been dubbed “Where We All Belong,” in reference to one of the band’s albums. The concert will start at 7 p.m. and is expected to last about three hours. The line-up includes Frank Wilkie, Rickey Godfrey & Zataban; Shane Pruitt; Jim Peterman; Mark Burrell; The Justin McCorkle Band; Brandy Lindsey & The Punch; and The Consumers featuring Sean O'Shields & Chris Strickland. Tickets for assigned seating are $25 each and can be bought anytime online at or by calling or going to the box office Monday-Friday afternoons. Proceeds will be given to Chapman Cultural Center to develop and promote the arts and culture that were the foundation for The Marshall Tucker Band’s worldwide success. For tickets or more information, please call 864.542.ARTS.

After the show the Hub City Tap House (across the street) will host an after party with the band Diamond Bullet playing some tunes until later in the night.
