SCHOLARSHIP WINNER: What the Money Means to Mary Wheeler Davis Scholarship Winner Ezra Anderson
We caught up with Spartanburg High School senior Ezra Anderson, who was recently awarded $1,500 from our Mary Wheeler Davis Memorial Scholarship fund. Ezra shared what this opportunity means to him and his emerging career in music. Watch the video and hear it in his own words!
HOW THIS SCHOLARSHIP WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE: With a sister that’s also in high school as a busy freshman, and parents managing everyday finances, Ezra says his family as a whole appreciates the aid that these funds create.
The Mary Wheeler Davis scholarship is intended for Spartanburg County students who are pursuing careers in the performing or visual arts. Scholarships are awarded between $1,000-$2,000 per student to the college, university, or accredited program of the student's choice. One to three students are awarded each year.
