Lunch & Learn: Spartanburg’s Medical Community in the 1920s and ‘30s

Spartanburg, SC — Spartanburg County Historical Association (SCHA) welcomes Susan Hodge Irwin on Friday, Feb. 27, 12:30-1:30 p.m. for the February installment of its monthly Lunch & Learn Lecture Series. Irwin, a native of Spartanburg, will share her insights from Spartanburg Medical Society’s archives. Lunch & Learns are held in the Callie and John Rainey Conference Room in the west wing of Chapman Cultural Center. Tickets and catered lunches from Palmetto Palate can be reserved in advance through SCHA’s online gift shop,, by phone at (864) 596-3501, or in person at Spartanburg Regional History Museum at Chapman Cultural Center. Tickets and a limited number of lunches will be available at the door. $5/ticket only; $15/ticket and lunch. SCHA members admitted free.
