The Chapman Cultural Center is a smoke free facility; smoking is not permitted anywhere in any building.
David Reid Theater:
- No cameras, recording devices, or cellular phones are allowed to be used while shows are in progress
- No refunds or exchanges
- All ages require a ticket for admission, including infants
- Late arrivals will be seated at the discretion of the House Manager
Exhibit Areas
- Guests are encouraged to ask questions about what they are viewing
- No cameras or recording devices of any kind are permitted in exhibit areas
- No food or drink is permitted in exhibit areas
- Please do not touch paintings or sculpture…finger oils can damage art work
- Please do not run or lean against or touch the walls
- Teachers must keep children from going behind the partitions in the Spartanburg Art Museum
- Be aware that there are other families and groups visiting the museums
- PLEASE NOTE: All teachers and chaperones are expected to accompany their group on the tour to enforce the rules as explained by the museum staff, to assist museum staff if asked, and to maintain order and decorum as befits students visiting a public facility
